Design Stunning Interiors with Space Planning & 3D Visualization
Program Overview
This 8-month online Interior Design program equips students with creative and technical skills to design functional, aesthetic spaces. Learn everything from design principles, space planning, color theory, furniture layout, to 3D modeling, rendering, and client presentation using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, and Photoshop. Ideal for aspiring interior designers, decorators, and architectural visualizers.
Basic Level (Months 1–2): Foundations of Interior Design
- Principles of Design & Spatial Awareness (Week 1–2)
– Elements of design: line, shape, texture, light
– Functional zones, user-centric planning - Interior Styling & Color Theory (Week 3–4)
– Color schemes, visual balance
– Styling with materials, textures, accessories - Technical Drafting – AutoCAD Basics (Week 5–6)
– Floor plans, elevations, and measurements
– Layers, line weights, architectural symbols - Materials & Finishes (Week 7–8)
– Surface materials: wood, stone, glass, fabric
– Moodboards and sample board creation
Intermediate Level (Months 3–5): Furniture, Lighting & 3D Modeling
- Furniture Layout & Ergonomics (Week 9–10)
– Space optimization and circulation flow
– Modular design and anthropometrics - Lighting Design for Interiors (Week 11–12)
– Ambient, task, and accent lighting
– Fixture types, placement, and light temperature - 3D Modeling in SketchUp (Week 13–15)
– Creating interior volumes and furniture in 3D
– Component libraries, views, and layers - Rendering with V-Ray (Week 16–17)
– Lighting setup, material application
– High-quality photorealistic renders - Photoshop for Presentation Boards (Week 18–20)
– Layout design, text overlays, mockups
– Enhancing renders and conceptual boards

Advanced Level (Months 6–8): Project Execution & Portfolio
- Designing Residential & Commercial Spaces (Week 21–22)
– Kitchen, living, bedroom, workspace layouts
– Concept to visualization execution - Client Presentation & Walkthrough (Week 23–24)
– Building client pitches and mood narratives
– Storyboarding and walkthrough visuals - Freelancing & Project Management (Week 25–26)
– Budgeting, timeline, sourcing materials
– Communicating with vendors and clients - Final Capstone Project & Review (Week 27–32)
– Complete design of a chosen space
– Present full documentation, visuals, and concepts
