Program Overview

This 8-month online Fine Arts program is designed to build a strong foundation in traditional and digital art. Students will learn key artistic disciplines including drawing, painting, composition, color theory, figure studies, and conceptual art. Ideal for aspiring artists, illustrators, designers, and creative professionals aiming to strengthen their portfolio and visual storytelling skills.

Basic Level (Months 1–2): Drawing Fundamentals & Art Foundations

  1. Introduction to Fine Arts & Visual Thinking (Week 1–2)
    – Understanding form, space, line, and shape
    – Tools, mediums, and visual observation techniques
  2. Fundamentals of Drawing (Week 3–5)
    – Perspective (1, 2, 3-point), still life drawing
    – Proportions, light & shadow, composition basics
  3. Line Art, Texture & Value Studies (Week 6–7)
    – Cross-hatching, stippling, shading
    – Creating depth and mood with tonal value
  4. Color Theory & Medium Exploration (Week 8)
    – Color wheel, harmony, contrast
    – Introduction to watercolor, gouache, and acrylics.

Intermediate Level (Months 3–5): Figure Drawing, Painting & Storytelling

  1. Anatomy & Figure Drawing (Week 9–11)
    – Gesture drawing, structure of the human body
    – Poses, movement, and proportions
  2. Portrait & Facial Expression Studies (Week 12–13)
    – Head construction, facial features
    – Emotions, angles, and stylization
  3. Still Life & Object Painting (Week 14–15)
    – Surface textures, material rendering
    – Lighting and color realism
  4. Illustration & Narrative Art (Week 16–17)
    – Visual storytelling and sequential art basics
    – Compositional framing, symbolism, and emotion
  5. Creative Composition Techniques (Week 18–20)
    – Balance, rhythm, contrast
    – Thumbnail sketching and layout planning

Advanced Level (Months 6–8): Concept Art, Mixed Media & Final Showcase

  1. Landscape & Environmental Art (Week 21–22)
    – Natural elements, perspective in nature
    – Color palettes and lighting in scenery
  2. Mixed Media Exploration (Week 23–24)
    – Combining traditional and digital mediums
    – Collage, texture, and experimental techniques
  3. Art for Portfolio & Exhibitions (Week 25–26)
    – Curating works, refining presentation
    – Digital portfolio and artist statement
  4. Final Personal Art Project (Week 27–32)
    – Choose a personal theme or story
